A concert forum in Yokohama City

to mark the 2nd anniversary of the Hacienda Massacre

and to protest the political killings

The Tokyo-Yokohama Network to Stop the Extrajudicial Killings in the Philippines held its first activity in Yokohama City with a concert/forum to mark the 2nd anniversary of the  Hacienda Luisita massacre and to also demand an end to the political killings.

 

The program began with a film showing of  the Japanese versions of Aklasan and Habilin ni Apo Jose (Doton) , and followed by talks by the representative of the  Friends of the Earth Japan and the Japanese spokesperson of the network.

A film showing of  the Japanese version of Aklasan and Habilin ni Apo Jose (Doton)

The Kalipunan ng mga Pilipinong Nagkakaisa (KAFIN) Cultural Group presented the Mindanao situation through the malong dance and  the hundred ways  use of malong.

Musicians such as Alison Opaon, Manji Ikuta and the SoSo Band gave their tribute to the victims of Hacienda Luisita and expressed deeply their solidarity with the Filipino people against the extrajudicial killings in the Philippines.
