Bayan Muna leaders and members join the funeral march

and demand justice for him and all victims of extrajudicial killings

Rodolfo Alvarado was gunned down on Dec. 31, 2006, a few hours before the new year. The 819th victim of extrajudicial killings under the Arroyo regime, Alvarado was Bayan Muna's chair for Albay, its 6th partylist nominee and its project officer for the Bicol region.

 

On January 8, Pong Alvarado was laid to rest, with the people he served well to his last breath, members of various people's organizations and Bayan Muna officials, members and supporters giving him their last respects and most militant salute to a life well lived because it was dedicated to serving the people..

 

 

Bayan Muna chair Dr. Reynaldo Lesaca, Bayan Muna president Satur Ocampo and Bayan Muna Rep. Teddy Casiņo salute Bayan Muna Albay Chair Rodolfo Alvarado and affirm their committment to the new politics which the slain provincial chair adhered to.

 

Rep. Satur Ocampo conveys the sincerest condolence and deepest sympathy of the entire Bayan Muna membership to the bereaved family.
