Two generations of activists reclaim Mendiola

to commemorate the 38th anniversary

of the First Quarter Storm

Members of the First Quarter Storm Movement (FQSM) and young activists from Anakbayan and the League of Filipino Students reclaimed Mendiola and celebrated the 38th anniversary of the First Quarter Storm with speeches and the singing of the Internationale.

Now with thinning and white hair, they continue to distribute manifestos as they did 38 years ago. But there is even more fire in the belly as far as the passion for serving the people and working for meaningful change is concerned.
