The confirmatory revelations by Rodolfo “Jun” Lozada before the Senate regarding the mammoth-scale ZTE Corporation- National Broadband Network corruption and bribery scandal, its progeny of other scandals, the Machiavellian schemes to cover up these crimes and deceive the people, and attempts to silence Lozada and other witnesses, have bared the immensity of the Arroyo regime's capacity for greed, perfidy, malevolence and fascist abuse of state power.
 
Lozada has done a great service to the Filipino people in exposing in more detail the anomalies in the NBN deal, including the gargantuan $130-million commission offer to the Arroyo family and their collaborators. He has also revealed irregularities in the Cyber-Education, Southrail and Northrail projects, and the diversion of a $1.1-billion loan facility for the upgrade of the Angat Dam and for soldiers and policemen's housing project.
 
Lozada's explosive revelations and the regime's fascist methods at silencing him have rekindled the fire in the Filipino people's fight to end the utterly corrupt and brutal regime. Progressive and democratic organizations, oppositionists, educators, church people, business groups and other anti-Arroyo forces are now quickly uniting against the regime, spurring anew a series of protest actions. Their solidarity provides more excellent conditions to finally bring down the hated rotten regime.
 
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and her cohorts are now double-timing their attempts to dampen the people's seething anger by launching an all-out effort to discredit Lozada, militarize the National Capital Region and surroundings. They are threatening anti-Arroyo organizations and leaders and intimidate the people from pouring out into the streets and once again raising people power to oust the regime. But the Arroyo clique will only face one political crises after another in its efforts to suppress the people.
 
The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) urges all forces of the broad united front of anti-Arroyo forces to muster the strength of several hundred thousands up to millions of the Filipino people and launch all possible forms of protest actions and movements in the National Capital Region and across the country to eventually cause the downfall of this despicable regime and make it pay for its grave crimes against the people.
 
The revolutionary armed forces, on their part, have been instructed by the CPP to further intensify tactical offensives in the next few weeks and months to help further weaken the Arroyo regime and contribute significantly to its ouster.
 
The CPP enjoins the Filipino people to wage revolutionary struggle to put an end to the entire reactionary ruling system. In the final analysis, only by waging and achieving victory in their revolutionary struggle can the Filipino people put a decisive end the entire rotten, corruption and repressive ruling system.
