Bayan-SMR leads picket rally vs GMA at her hotel in Davao City

DAVAO CITY - Members of
progressive groups led by the Bagong Alyansang Makabayan-Southern Mindanao
Region, and partylists Bayan Muna, Anakpawis, Gabriela and Kabataan held a
protest action yesterday (January 5) in front of the Marco Polo Hotel
during the visit of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for an event of the Department
of Trade and Industry. The progressive groups called for Arroyo's
accountability in the Ampatuan massacre and the escalating cases of
political killings and called for her ouster.
