OCTOBER 18-21
LAKBAYAN NG MGA MAGSASAKA PARA SA LUPA AT
HUSTISYA LABAN SA HACIENDERONG REHIMEN NI AQUINO
Peasants will slam the Haciendero Republic
of Noynoy Aquino after more than 100-days in office that has no clear plan
on how to address the issues on land reform in the country but rather
continues Gloria Arroyo’s state terrorism in addressing the peasants’
grievances.
The marathon protest march dubbed as
“LAKBAYAN NG MGA MAGSASAKA PARA SA LUPA AT HUSTISYA LABAN SA HACIENDERONG
REHIMEN NI AQUINO” will start-off at Calamba, Laguna on October 18 and
culminate in Mendiola Bridge on October 21. The march will pass through
key offices and highlight local peasant issues calling for genuine
agrarian reform and put an end to militarization in the region.
