ESTRADA
HAS MADE IMPOSSIBLE

OF GRP-NDFP NEGOTIATIONS

The Estrada
regime has made impossible the resumption of the GRP-NDFP
peace negotiations.
Estrada has time
and again declared that he wants to crush the
revolutionary movement. In fact, he has escalated gross
human rights violations under his Oplan Makabayan.
He has put to
waste all previous GRP-NDFP peace negotiations and
agreements. He is pushing his futile scheme of localized
surrender negotiations, employing long discredited
renegades and traitors like Arturo Tabara and the late
Conrado Balweg, in order to bury further the GRP-NDFP
peace negotiations.
He considers the
resumption of the GRP-NDFP peace negotiations,
particularly the aborted negotiations on social, economic
and political reforms, as contrary to his drive to
rewrite the 1987 constitution of the GRP for the purpose
of selling out national sovereignty and patrimony.
In response, the
national leadership of the people's revolutionary
government has announced that the revolutionary forces
and the people are determined to fight the US-Estrada
regime in every necessary and possible way.
They are well
prepared because of the resounding success of the Second
Great Rectification Movement, the consolidation and
expansion of the mass base and the politico-military
training of the New People's Army for protracted people's
war along the national-democratic line.
The broad masses
of the people, especially the workers and peasants, are
more interested in the progress of the armed revolution
than in the resumption of the GRP-NDFP peace
negotiations.
Because there
are no more GRP-NDFP negotiations, I am very happy to
have more time for my research and writing projects. I
consider as futile, no matter how vicious, the personal
attacks and threats against me from the Estrada regime. #
