March from UP Diliman to Batasan along Commonwealth Avenue

Some 2,000 marchers held a program at the UP campus the previous night, stayed there overnight. By daybreak, thousands of rallyists from Metro Manila and nearby provinces joined them, swelling the number to more than 60,000. But the police had barricaded the avenue at St. Peter's Parish. The rallyists occupied the entire length of the East side of Commonwealth Avenue, from Ever Gotesco to Diliman Prep School, and held their program near Gotesco.
